"Oxon Hill is a good school. Don't be afraid to attend.. As you see the school is going to be even better within the next 2 yrs.. They re-zoned neigborhoods and Oxon Hill is on itsway to greatness! One thing Oxon Hill need to do...Get rid of a certain history teacher..I'm not saying any names but his name starts with a "K" and ends with a "g" .. He is pulling down the student's moral.. Enough said! Go clippers"

"I used to be a studnet at OHHS. At first I was kind of sacred to go there, but after being there for a few days I got used to it. The band is good and so is the choir, AFJROCT are very good. Some of the teachers should be fired because they dont do their job right and I almost failed most of my classes because most of the teachers didn't care if you were learning or not, but I'm mad I won't be graduating with my 2013 class there. I'd rather be an Oxonian Hill Clipper Than A Therrell Panther In Atlanta, Ga...CLIPPER FOR LIFE."

"I Transfered To Oxon Hill my tenth grade year from Potomac high school. Immediately i noticed the difference in the atmosphere between the two schools as Potomac was much worst, Oxon Hill displayed so much diversity , as Potomac was Just All African American All The Time. I Love Oxon Hill It Just the Neibor Hood called Glassmanor That Brings The schools image down. I'd take an Oxon Hill Clipper over a Potomac Wolverine any day!!!"

"OHHS has alot of programs and amenities that other schools in the area and in other counties dont have. The School is massively overcrowded but this is only because of the Science and Tech Program. OHHS has a massive amount of Diversity and Great programs such as the Music Dep. which went to play in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It offers a decent lunch for a great price and also the quality of education is above average considering when i left OHHS to go to Charles County, CCPS was about 20 steps behind PGCPS. They have up to date technology and although i can name a few teachers that need to be fired, the teachers are of a good quality. Discipline can be difficult at OHHS because there are over 4000 kids in the school, looking back it was a good school and im sad i didnt graduate from OHHS."

"I am currently a freshman at Oxon Hill High School in the Science and Tech program. On my first day at this school, I was scared to death because of Oxon Hills reputation. But after the first day, you realize that its just like any other high school. Actually, I'm probably better off here than at Gwynn Park or Friendly. Oxon Hills rep exceeds the danger that is actually there. If you go to class, and do what your supposed to do, then you are virtually as safe as you you can be. Yes, the school is extremely overcrowded, and Yes, they need more and better teachers, but the school as a whole is great for any good student. It is culturally diverse and our afterschool activities keep you occupied."
