"At Mission Bay High School, you have some teachers that are incredible and stay after school if you need help on work and are very skilled at teaching the subject to the students. On the other hand, there are a few teachers whom I have had that are genuinely nice people, however their teaching methods are not strong and I have not learned as much as I could have."

"I love this school, especially since I am a student in the toughest classes that is offered and in the top 10%. Due to this, I have incredible teachers who help out the students extremely and go above and beyond. The students are kind too however there is a lack of school spirit and student uniformity and this was important to me. If it weren't for the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, I am not sure I would have attended this school."

"There's not much parent involvement, except when it comes to athletic events (especially football) Also, thanks to parents our gradnite at Disneyland was possible since it's no longer a school sponsored event."

"Personally, I believe that most of the teachers were approachable and easy to talk to. At times I would feel like if I asked for help or anything that I would be bothering them. There are few teachers at this school, but amongst the few I met some of the greatest inspirational individuals."

"Huge praise to the janitors that constantly keep Mission bay clean. Some teachers don't really do much and just expect a simple worksheet or textbook to do all their teaching. There so much work to be done in class the time flies by!! The teachers just simply do one example and expect everyone to understand. I get that you don't want to simply just do everything for us and want us to try to figure it out ourselves but really its just really frustrating because if you don't know, you don't know."
