"The are a few teachers at this school that are superb. They are knowledgeable in their subject area and they know how to pass on their understanding to the students. They have the ability to motivate the kids into learning. They are innovative in the class room and their teaching skills are reflected in the educational achievements of the students are fortunate enough to be taught by those few."

"The teachers, most of them, are dedicated to their students and want them to learn. Some on the other hand don't. My school is a career based school, so we have some classes that'll help us in our future in college and our careers; these careers include graphic arts, journalism, tv production, web design, medical, pre-engineering, pre-architecture, pre-law and culinary. We have four classes each semester and we switch some of our classes after winter break. Sometimes it's a lot of work to get done, considering some people have a job, other work to do or other obligations to take care of, but it's not too bad."

"I would not choose this school again because it is a charter with very little resources. The building is extremely old and outdated. It is not an appealing place to be. Some of the teachers are very qualified and can teach. Others are not. I went there as a skipper. I am not satisfied with my overall progress there. I pray that I will be able to compete on the college level."

"Our school is kind of diverse. Everyone talks and words get around easily. It's such a small school, we're all like family. Like most families, we can be disfunctional. Not everybody gets along and all but we do all know or seen or heard of each other. There aren't any special cliques, but everyone has their closer group of friends they stick too. No one feels down because they aren't accepted or anything for their beliefs, it's all good."

"I first saw the school when my middle school teacher Ms. Wilson bought us to the school. I was lost and intrigued with the layout of the open, spacious school. When I actually started attending, I was still lost and nervous (as usual) to see how things would turn out. I went to the wrong place for my first class and I got scared because I didn't know how the teacher would react. But it turned out good and I actually like it. Now I got the layout all figured out and I like it."
