    "I've had 2 children go through this school and it is the best in manatee county, compared to bayshore ele. ...... well theres no comparison the negitive coment on this school is way off, by far the best teachers and staff in manatee"

    "This school in my judgment lacks disipline right from the top. Some of the teachers we have experienced did not put much effort into keeping an interactive environment that allows the parent to be informed and prepared for the childs education. Lack of teacher/ parent interaction. No programs to help children to make transitions or to get help when adjusting to a new school. They cut their budget by cutting after school learning and provide absolutely. They raise money for school programs that make no sense. Not a good choice if you want your child to get a good education."

    "Deerwood is an excellent school with a super staff. The parents are involved in most activities. The students continue to make great academic gains."
