"I had two children attending this school. Both my children have special needs. their services and compliance was unsatisfactory. I repeatedly attempted to get them to comply with the IEP. i eventually let the district and drive 6 miles so that they can get an approprialte education with responsible professional that care."

"I am a mother of 5 children who all attended Nancy Cory from Kindergarten through 5th grade. My youngest son is currently a 5th grader here and I must say I have been extremely happy with all the teachers and the support this school has to offer for students."

"Wow, my kids go to school here and I knew something was wrong but i didn't know exactly what. I spotted trouble from the word go. I wanted my children to meet the principal since they came late in the school season. He was too busy and never did care enough to meet my kids. Until I caused a stink, he and the vice principal both came running. There seems to be a lot of discrimination in this school. My friend is hispanic and she and her kids seem t catch a lot of heat. There is little in the way of field trips. I was hoping to have my kids in the band but I held back for obvious reason. I don't think I will subject my kids to this environment unless there are major improvments. On a good note my kids do have great teachers this year!"

"I have to agree that the school is not what it used to be under the direction of Sandra Lyons. In my opinion, there is no PTO. Shirts and Scrip must be ordered. No one cares enough to take the time. There is no fun for the kids. Activities,(i.e. Fall Festival, costumes @ Halloween, etc.)Nothing to motivate the children into enjoying school. I agree that most of the teachers are wonderful, but they can only do so much. Parents need to speak out by going to school board meetings and taking an active involvement in PTO, not just in name only. Nancy Cory could return to what it once was. Maybe the new superintendent will encourge and bring forth change. Let's hope so!"
