"My children have been at PLP since kindergarten, we have suffered through the new principal and the revolving door that is the Asst. Prin. Office, its a shame. The school used to carefully select its students and as a PLP parent it was our job to ensure our kids were behaving within the guidelines set for them. Now the schools a joke. Not at the fault of the teachers, I've watched them struggle to teach and do the best they can with what they are given. The kids are not even allowed to play at recess because everything has been taken away from them. The district needs to make a change and put PLP back the way it was. Sadly, we will be exploring other options for next year. Too bad too, we used to be proud to be PLP parents."

"PLP was a wonderful place a couple of years ago, however, since the principle change and the lack of State funding it has lost alot of it's appeal. We have been attending PLP going on three years now. My youngest attended 2nd grade last school year, and the math program was the worst I have ever seen, The incredibly strong foundation that his first grade teacher (the districts Master) had provided was riped out from under him and left him struggling with simple addition most of the year. It was very frightening. I will be investigating Westside Union School districts Home schooling program. I believe that the students at PLP are no longer recieving the individual attention that they once were."

"Two years ago I would have given PLP a 5 star rating, however since the new principal has come in and the rules on admitting students have changed the school has too. I am offended that the Palmdale School Dist. thinks it is more important to teach my children how to speak Spanish then Science or Social Studies but that is not the schools fault. We have been very lucky and only have had one teacher that we were very unhappy with. My son and daughter both attend PLP and have since they were in Kindergarten, they are in 2nd and 3rd now and absolutely love going to school every day. Great School!!!!!"

"We love this school. My granddaughter is an ADHD kid and she has thrived at PLP. The teachers are great as well as the Principal and assistant Principal."
