"My children attended Pinecrest from preschool through middle school and received an excellent education; one is now in college and taking honors classes, and the other just graduated from Pinecrest and will be attending the top college-prep high school in our area where she received honors at entrance and was admitted to honors/pre-AP classes. This is in no small part due to the quality of education both received from a dedicated faculty. I credit the adminstration, particularly the principal, for ensuring that the teachers were and are among the most skilled education professionals including many with advanced degrees and years of experience. Pinecrest, however, is more than just an academic institution. It is obvious that the school is committed to a student's total development and well-being: they offer many classes that public schools have been forced to cut in addition to many extra-curricular activities. Pinecrest gives students the skills needed to succeed in today's competitive world all in a structured and caring environment."

"My child has been at Pinecrest School in Lancaster since Preschool. She has developed socially and academically thanks to the great teachers! The teachers are caring and communicate on a daily basis. I am excited for my child to enter Elementary and participate in the after school activities Pinecrest has to offer! We look forward to keeping our child in Pinecrest for many years!"

"As a teacher here I am very pleased with the school. The company treats us well and does their best to back us up when needed. As teachers we are all encouraged and we work very hard to differentiate our instruction and curriculum to meet the needs of our students. I had much fewer than 20 students in my class this year as well as an aide. This allows us to give struggling students the one on one attention they need. Students earn their grades here and are not simply given whatever the parents feel they deserve, although many parents try to take that route. If you are a parent looking to go here, it is a great school. Just trust that the teachers know what they are doing and what they are talking about. They all have the children's best interests at heart and are trying to do all they can to help them succeed. Follow the teachers' advice and your child will do well."

"My daughter was at Pinecrest for 11 years, just graduating from 8th grade. We choose Pinecrest after looking at several schools, Montessori and parochial. We choose Pinecrest for the superior academics the school offers with the bonuses of small classrooms, arts, P.E., after school sports, excellent teachers, safety and hours. Mrs. Latimer, who became principal about 7-8 years ago, has improved the school tremendously, by upgrading the exterior grounds bringing in new jungle gyms, and swings. She has implemented several important programs to help assist our children in becoming more compassionate, responsible adults. She has also brought in up-to-date technology for our children and teachers which will help them in high school and future years to come! My hat's off to you Mrs. Latimer! I wouldn't have changed a thing in my daughter's early education. Thank you!"
