"I think that the principle is considerate of the parents concerns. I think that the staff is incredible they are patient and knowledgeable. I am not happy with the communication between parents and teachers. My child has been in fights he has been misbehaving in class and I never received any calls or emails about it, when i see her everyday she acted like there was nothing wrong. The teacher that my son has says that she does not want to give consequences to my child's actions because she does not like to be the "MEAN GUY" and now that she has realized that he has gotten out of control she wants me to fix the problem that she created. Maybe I got a BAD teacher for our 1st year at this school but I think that the communications between the parents and teacher should be more prevalent in the way the school is run, so that there are optimum results in children's academics."

"This is a great school!!! We moved here last year and my son made friends the kids are friendly. The parents seem to care and get involved. The teachers were outstanding!!! Although the school doesn't look as new as some of the other schools around here they have the best teachers and students!! Look at their test scores compared to other schools!!"

"I love this school. I have had two children complete their elementary education there. One of my favorite years was this last one in which my daughter was in Mrs. Densing s 2nd grade class. Mrs. Densing is highly personable, organized, and hard working. Also, her parent communication is great. I would highly recommend that you request to have your child spend the year in her class."

"The school is great, and the teaching staff is awesome. I have volunteered in all of my son's classrooms over the years and have always had great experiences, but none compare to the phenomenal year that I spent as a parent volunteer in Mr. Carlson's class. Not only did my son grow by leaps and bounds, but he came home interested in everything. Mr. Carlson is highly organized and presents material with great enthusiasm and skill. There was not a moment where the students were not actively engaged in learning. I highly recommend both Quartz Hill Elementary School and the magical Mr. Carlson."

"All 3 of my children went to Quartz Hill Elementary School and we loved it. Now I have 4 grandchildren attending Quartz Hill and are all doing very well. The Techers at Quartz Hill are excellent and caring."
