"This is a wonderful school! I love that they have a preschool program dedicated to children with speech disabilities. It is by far the best preschool program in the A.V. My child's speech has greatly improved since attending their preschool program. They have 3 teachers to about 15 children which allows each child to get much needed one on one attention. The k-4th grade classes are also wonderful and I love that this school takes bullying very seriously. I was skeptical enrolling my child in this school because it is a rural area I thought maybe the teachers weren't the best but I very happy and so are my children. The teachers and staff are wonderful! I have been employed by both Lancaster and Palmdale school district and I can honestly say this school is the best. Thank you Vista San Gabriel for being a wonderful school and thank you Mrs. Lopez for being a principal that truly cares!"

"Mrs. Lopez, the principal is wonderful. She is hands on and very dedicated to these children. I am impressed and give her a 10!!! I am happy with staff and teachers. As far as behavioral problems the other parent has listed below, as in any other school, parents must be on top of who their children socialize with meaning participating, volunteering in their school and being a part of their lives. As far as curriculum goes, this school is very strict with homework and my daughter is in 2nd grade and already the first week of school they are starting a new math chapter. I can't complain! Smaller classrooms and more one one attention than Palmdale district."

"Teacher and staff apathy abound. All my children have learned at this school are behavioral problems. At mid-term 2nd grader is still doing the same class work she did at the beginning of the year. My kinderg rtner is doing the same work he did in pre-school. The only effect of No Child Left Behind has been to thwart all progress to the lowest common denominator and let the class trudge at an unchallenged pace. None of my kids want to go to school any more because they are bored in class and bullied on the school yard. I am currently exploring home schooling options if I cannot find a satisfactory public school for them."

"This is a very good school. It is in a small rural area and has a high number of english language learners. The test scores do not accurately reflect this school. The teachers are very good and the support staff are excellent. It is too bad that the only way schools are reveiwed nowdays is by test scores. This is a wonderful school and I am proud to have my children go there."

"Pretty much the best elementary school ever! The teachers are awesome, and the office staff is amazing! I wish I had gone here as an elementary school student."
