    "I agree that this school is very overcrowded and the violence between the children is getting out of hand. At least once to twice a week I hear about fights, kids being suspended, etc. I had moved my child from another school thinking this would be a better and safer option to only be very disappointed."

    "This school needs a better principal. It has good teachers but it needs a stong dedicated leader not afraid to stand up to the board. The kindergarten classes are failing, they are so overcrowded there is no time for teaching or learning. My grandson went from a private christian pre-school with a lot of potential to learn and he cannot learn at Yucca. There are too many, 30 per class, students in oneclassroom and only one teacher without an aide. I observed harmful student behavior but the teacher cannot watch them all at one time."

    "I am a long time graduate of this school. I attended 1971-1978 and I can still remember many of my years going to Yucca. The faculty was great and I have to say I received a solid foundation for my later school years.I seriously doubt that any of the teachers are still on the staff but I am sure they were replaced with equal or better staff. If I were living in the Palmdale area I would not have any fears, doubts, or anxious feeling about sending my children or grandchildren."

    "I like this school because its near my home and my daughter is in mrs Huffs class and i think she is the best teacher in the world and my daughter enjoys being in her class, as far as security i think that parents should be informed when there is a lockdown.I think they should pay more attention as to who picks up what child and be a lil more polite to parents of yucca students because there are a few rude employees at this school."

    "This is a great school because of the administrators, Dr. Mondragon and Mrs. Cooksey, the teachers, and the parents. The teachers use their expertise to help English Learners to succeed in the classroom and provide extra help extra help outside of class as well as after school tutoring. Yucca has teachers who are united and work to collaborate with each other to make their grade levels the best they can be. I am proud to be working with everyone at Yucca and look forward to next school year."
