"Wilson has been a great place for our son. He transitioned into 6th grade smoothly and loves his school. The robotics program is amazing, he is on the tennis team which uses the school's beautiful new tennis courts. The performing arts - band, orchestra, drum corps and dance engages most of the students. The school has both a PC and brand new Mac lab, and a computer teacher. Academically, we are improving and there's a new spirit of pride and parent involvement emerging. Come and take a tour. The days of only one or two "good" schools in Pasadena are over. That's old news. Families have more choices and I say come and see for yourself !"

"This school is the worst school I have ever been to. Most of the teachers are lazy. They teach students almost nothing and expects them to complete a ton of homework and turn it in the next day. I cannot believe how lazy the staff is too. I'd expect more from the staff. Its like they encourage students to bully each other. A friend of mine got thrown against the wall and they reported to security and they did nothing. Also, aren't counselors supposed to help kids? Counselors from some of the schools in NY encourage students to do good in school by rewarding them. Over there they ration out homework so the students are not stressed and the counselors at this school do nothing just like almost every other staff member. Some staff and teachers in this school are really good compared to the ton of others that sit there and do nothing. Whatever you do or hear never EVER come to this school."

"I'm really surprised by the above reviews. My son is currently attending here and aside from the abundance of homework has had no complaints. His dad and I have met with all of his teachers, whom we liked well enough. There are many issues affecting our school systems at this time and the teachers are required to do more with less resources and time. It is up to the parents as well to ensure their children are following through. As for the bullying, I am concerned, of course, as it should not be tolerated in any of our schools and it is something that should be addressed. I plan on questioning it this evening when we attend the Science Competitions."

"This is a HORRIBLE school. My child was racially harrassed, bullied every day and went from a straight A student to straight F. The kids that were being bully's received a warning and a slap on the hand. The kids are out of control. One teacher was even making fun of my child calling her names. The kids run the school. DON'T take your kid here!!!!"

"Educationally, it has been a terribble experience. I chose pasadena over la. It is a safer enviroment, but with less educational choice.Wilson is nothing more than a babysitter for kids. Do not send your kids here"
