"Beautiful facilities, excellent educators, and caring staff members, can all be said about Long Beach High School. The education is outstanding, offering standard, Advanced Placement, as well as International Baccalaureate classes. The staff members possess a high education as well as a burning compassion in helping students succeed. The classrooms have a lot of natural light making it a pleasurable environment to learn. Although, the environment is outstanding for learning, there isn't the same quota about the social life. To much dismay of the staff, there isn't much diversity and culture in the school. The majority of white students don't converse with different minorities or/and races attending the high school. If the staff of the high school can change anything they should turn their focus on making events that involve the student body to interact with each other. All said the high school is a great choice for an exceptional learning experience."

"My experience at Long Beach High School was alright, nothing i think i will miss. I think we need more classes and more clubs. We also need more textbooks because most of the textbooks are out of date."

"I love my school. Everything from the teachers to the students have made my experience the best it could've. Most faculty and staff are there to help you get through high school and succeed in higher education. The school is very diverse which is a great factor that has definitely helped me progress and adjust to life. The academics and IB courses are like no other and although it was very difficult at one point I'm very glad i made it through."

"LBHS is a wonderful school with hardworking staff and eager to learn students. The building may resemble a prison from the outside but the inside is full of wonderful works of art produced by a number of talented children that have graduated."

"Unfortunately, the time at LBHS was not necessarily the best. Some of the teachers were just there for the paycheck and our administration ran a few that were dedicated away. There are teachers at Long Beach High that taught all the curriculum as well as a few lessons on life. They helped shape me and several others into who we are today. The fine arts programs at my school is absolutely amazing. Our theater, choir, and band are filled with brilliant minds, eager to climb the ladder that is life. I, personally, am in the band program and it has given me such a positive outlook on life and several bonds that could last a lifetime. The counselors do absolutely all they possibly can to make sure that the students have the schedules and high school careers they need to be successful. I couldn't imagine my high school experience anywhere else."
