"Peekskill School District has promised a new Middle School for over 4 years and the project is over 2 years behind schedule with little to no hope in sight for a completion date in the near future. Extremely high taxes, low scores and broken promises."

"Parent involvement rates an 'F'. No one participates or joined to help the '2' members of the PTO. The new building is over 1 year behind schedule. Poor management and budgeting by the district."

"I think all Peekskill schools are the best. Our staff members have many challanges that they overcome on a daily basis. If we tracked our children that stay in the district from K-12 I think the report card would look much different."

"The teachers at the Peekskill Middle School are among the best. They give 100% of themselves and some. They're dedicated to helping the children achieve the highest education the can offer. The School District Needs to help with providing them with the proper resources they need, such as updated books. But being the dedicated teachers to ensuring proper education they go out of there way to provide the children one way or the other with the materials they need. The staff they're is also great. Anytime you need to speak with someone they're there to help you to help the students. I think there's great team effort amongst the teachers and staff which also contributes to the success of their educational programs and put them a step above the rest. There's room for growth but there definitly headed in the right direction. Keep up the good work."
