"I am entering my Junior year at Pembroke High School, and from my experiences, the school is average. Most, not all, of the administration can be very difficult to get along with. Well, at least if you expect them to act like rational yet understanding human beings. Teachers are, for the most part, neither here nor there. The musical program is phenominal."

"I have two children that have attended Pembroke High School. One graduated last spring and is on to a fine private college, and my other child is currently a sophmore in the high school. I have been very happy with the education my kids have recieved at this high school. Whether it's academics, the arts, sports and other after school activities I feel Pembroke High School has excelled, not to mention this has been put together in 5 years. Impressive. Many issues I have read, if not all are dealt with on a daily basis on some level at every high school. A certain teacher you don't like. An administrator rubbed you the wrong way. A certain coach may not perfect. Oh well, a school is all what you as a parent make of it. Pembroke High School facilitates the needs of us as parents, and our children."

"The school is overall very well staffed in my views, i am alumni from PHS and i believe that the curriculum there has prepared me well for a college. There are of course a few things that could be improved, the higher administration can be judgmental of students because of their social groups and thus the institution can be a bit chauvinistic towards giving all their students a equal opportunity. But aside from that, the parent teachers association does a very good job keeping the school funded and the teachers really couldn't be anymore pleasant and helpful. Haha, almost forgot, Pembroke has a great sports program, Bill Fallon is a genius, Mark Duffy awesome, but lets re-invent the football program, say a new head coach? Because as our hockey players have shown its not like we cant play."

"PHS is an excellent school and I find most of these reviews to be incorrect. I'm a junior and there is only one teacher during my high school career who I found inferior and she is no longer teaching there. As for the book issue I find that we have an ample supply of text books and never has there been a student that I have witnessed without a book. As for the teachers being available, they are. EVERY teacher I have had stayed after during the week for extra help and it is up for the students to come. The teachers often announce that there will be extra help and just because your children choose to ignore it does not mean it is unavailable."

"I am pleased overall with the PHS educatrion. I feel as though my son needs to be pushed more and that he is in classes that come easily to him. I would like to see more elective choices that keep kids with their own grade as well"
