"Our children attend Vernfield Elementary School and we couldn't be more impressed by the principal and caring staff. Staff members volunteer to work with students after school in inovative programs including, Reading Olympics, Math Olympics, Student Council, Book Groups, Just Say No Club, Dodge Ball, Parent/Community Evening events not to mention Parent/Child/Teacher nights to dance, sing, read and play together. Flexible grouping in the upper grades means kids get individual attention. Our children really soar with the Vernfield Hawks."

"Vernfield is a wonderful school. I realized this even more after we moved out of the area. The school is great about keeping the parents involved. The teachers & the principal are fantastic. They also have a program where the older kids will 'adopt' a younger kid to help them get adjusted to school. I believe this program also helps the older kids learn to be compassionate to those younger than them (rather than picking on them)."
