"I have watched my kids grow up through this school since it first opened. Both Principals (Mr. Lizarga who opened it, and Mrs. Bryant who has ran it since) have been excellent. The teachers really care about the students! And the scores go up every year. Mr. Sarkesian, the teacher who coaches sports, does a great job with all the kids as well. My son not only got his grades up because of Mr. Sarkesian and Mr. Turner, but he also developed into a great athlete. Kudos to Columbia!"

"Our son is new to the school this year, and he loves it. All of the teachers with whom he has associated have been wonderful. The GATE program is great, and Coach S is fantasic with the kids! We are not sure about the test scores, however, it takes more than 'qualified' teachers to help the students achieve high scores. It takes a lot of parent involvement and support at home. So, if our son's scores are not what they should be, we are not going to automatically blame the school staff. We think more parents need to look at what they are doing at home for their children before they start pointing the fingers at the teachers. Columbia, staff, teachers and principal, we think you are doing a great job. It is not easy doing your job. So thank you for all of your hard work!"

"My daughter has been at this school since it has opened and the teachers are great but the office staff i think could do better as far as knowing what programs are going on that day or if they were canceled I think the secretary is very rude on the phone when i call and the principal too but the teachers are great."

"As a new school, Columbia has had some tough challenges to face. But the administration and staff have stepped up to that challenge by providing a safe and nurturing place for children to learn, grow, and achieve. Columbia teachers and staff do all they can to foster the stuedents' love for learning, to develop and build the students' sense of character, and to develop the students' respect for each other and their school. Parents are encouraged to become involved in their child's education. The teaching staff meets weekly to discuss and coordinate events, to review teaching strategies and programs designed to facilitate academic growth, and to gather and share information vital to the success of the school. The Columbia teachers, administration, and staff are devoted and caring individuals who desire to see their students succeed to their best and brightest potential."
