"Perris High School is one of the best high schools in my opinion! The campus is beautiful and the staff and the teachers are amazing! The teachers are always welcoming new students with open arms and large smiles on their faces. I've struggled a lot throughout my freshman year and when I thought I had no one to turn to, I looked back and seen all my teachers standing behind me when I needed it the most. I don't know the definition of a great school but in my opinion, Perris High School would fit in that category. The staff is always friendly and willing to help any student out when he or she is struggling even the slightest bit. The teachers and staff are always helping students out when they're struggling with a problem either school related or even when it's a personal struggle. There are so many clubs and sports and things like that to join. I have not yet joined a club but I am a "TA" (teachers assistant) for the football team and being the only female there, it was an amazing experience. I enjoy seeing the boys and the coach everyday! The coach is amazing and always pushes the boys to their physical breaking point when it comes to football!"

"I am currently a senior at Perris and have mixed feelings about the school. Those who say the school and it's students are horrid and "ghetto" are ignorant. I currently have a 4.8 GPA and have excelled greatly throughout my high school career. The students that fail do so by choice, not by fault of the school. I do, however, have a great problem with administration. They are extremely corrupt and show favoritism towards athletes. Their priorities are not to help the students succeed in the future, but to keep them in school in order to receive funds. The teachers I have had are nothing short of amazing, but one must take into consideration that I have had all advanced and AP courses, I am sure there are other teachers that are not as supportive or helpful. Although there is a vast portion of students that are not motivated academically and choose to neglect schoolwork, there is still a great amount of brilliant, driven students that have not been held back by the school they attend. There are times when I would prefer attending a different school, but again I have done extremely well at Perris despite its negative reputation."

"Perris High is a good school, I cannot complaint about it. It offers a great programs for the students. Counseling service is good, and I have witnessed that the school is improving day by day. A few years ago it was an "uncomfortable" zone; but now, as a parent, I feel always welcomed. Also they provide the Parents University which offers courses to parents and the Parent Center open every Wednesday. All what it is said about this is a bad school , at least to me has been a mistake. Just for a few students who don't want to strive or do their best, sadly, negative opinions "pop out". Just be involved, make sure your student is on the right place at the right time. Visit your son at school sometimes, keep communication with the teachers and everything will work out!"

"I have two kids that go to PHS and they do just fine. They are involved with ROTC,they have a good solid group of friends, they both get good grades, and love gpoing to school each day. One of my kids lives with Autism and has never been picked on(the kids at that school wouldn't put up with it) and teachers are good. Never have they come home scared, beaten up or on drugs! I have been to the school a number of times and have never seen graffti or tagging anywhere. That's a lie. And, if people want to complain, maybe you should get involved with your kids school more."

"I am currently attending Perris High School and I love it. Parents are over reacting saying there are fights daily, fights occur, but not daily. Maybe when you attended this school it was horrible, I assure you so much things have changed. Our test scores have raised dramatically not to mention we're all working hard to make it better. Our own community bashes our school, instead of just complaining, why don't you help us make it a better school for your own children? It's sad how the students can't even wear our school's clothing to a store without being criticized. People change, so can Schools. Teachers there help us and push us towards college. Don't judge us based on a few bad students. When you hear our school, "Ghetto" automatically comes into your mind. Once again, thats over reacting. Its actually a great school and I'm proud to call myself a Panther."
