"Overall, I would say that Hendrickson has one of the best teaching staffs in my PISD district. Although, some classes are more engaging than others, most classes are still very doable and interesting. I do wish that we would have more classes that expanded into real-world application and immersed students so that they get a feel for how a certain industry or job operates. The teachers themselves do try to engage students and do more than what is expected of them to make sure that no child is left behind. And for all of their hard work, I am forever grateful."

"The teachers at Hendrickson High School do a great job with helping us when we struggle in a topic or a life experience and pushes us as students to be better people no matter if its inside or outside the classroom. These teachers also do a great of preparing us post graduation such as for a job, college, etc. ."

"HHS doesn't care what race you are. Once a Hawk always a Hawk. We treat each other like a family."

"Hendrickson students are very accepting. The staff does not tolerate any type of bullying or peer pressure. It is a safe place to tell teachers if something wrong is happening. Diversity is something you can see when you first walk into Hendrickson."

"There are many different types of people at this school. We are diverse in race, socio-economic status, sexuality, and interests. This is a very good thing because it exposes different types of students to each other and they learn more about each other. Diversity is important because it lets students see different sides to different kinds of people. Students are quite involved and are often single handedly running organizations at this school. The school is overall accepting and makes an effort to understand people who might be a little more different than everyone else."
