"My school is not very rich but is not poor like other schools. Their is a great deal of favoritism here and parents only care about their child nobody else. If someone voiced their opinion they will quickly shut them down."

"The social scene is somewhat any average of high school. But mostly Hispanics than white people, here in the valley it is mostly Mexicans and is it not diverse at all. Many students are involved in activities after school and in their sports also. There is a lot of peer pressure here because if you do not follow your group of friends you get made fun of. The acceptance here is hard you basically have to build yourself up and its all about who you know and what you do makes you who you are. Their are challenges because most people think Mexicans will never evolve into something and we are constanly judged and looked down on."

"It's honestly the greatest. Our school is very well United together. We are very involved and always willing to help out a classmate in need. We recently had a student be involved in a serious sports injury. As a school we are raising money to help pay for the hospital expenses and his surgery. We are also selling bracelets,t-shirts, and barbecue plates for our Raider in need. We pray for him everyday and hope he gets fully recovered."

"The administration at my high school are helpful but to when it's to their convenience not ours. They give a great deal of worksheets and don't really engage with their students. They care more about what we wear and not about our education."

"The curriculum here at PSJA North high school is tough depending on what classes you take. Some courses might be more rigorous than others, some might so easy you can just sleep all day and still receive an A. Here at my school they offer your associates degree and numerous other certificates. There is many courses here you take and a variety of electives to choose from."
