"The students at this school value social status more than education, the believe its all about who someone hangs out with. They do not accept students that are different or a little weird"

"It widely depends on the generation in school. My generation, the students are highly competitive. Some more than others, but even they want to pass the classes. Even if it is with a c. The lower generations do not care as much as we do. They hate school. They are not to blame. Just look at the environment. It is like they are preparing us for jail. There is no awareness about the future. Students are lost most of the time."

"The social aspect of Valley View High School is good. There are a lot of students that are involved in clubs and are entitled to it because they are dedicated. Peer pressure, I haven't quite seen at all, so I could say that it is not really a problem. Challenges regardless to ethnicity or sexual orientation is really accepting at our school, we have a zero tolerance for bulling at Valley View High School."

"The students are always involved on what they do. With advanced or ap courses pressure is always present. Students at valley view are very accepting towards all students, and peer-pressure is not present. Since we all have the same ethnicity we tend to help each other out in any challenge that we may face during the school year."
