"We spent months with our child in the 2s and 3s class & we had many concerns. I wrote an email to the 2 teachers. I praised them for their dedication & effort. I also expressed our concerns. After so much time spent with the 2 teachers, I had grown to admire, respect, and like them both. They never returned my email or talked to me again. We got an email from the director who, despite our time in the classroom, dismissed all of our concerns and disinvited our son from the school. This was very painful and unexpected. But it was the best thing for him. We got him into a play based school & helped toilet train, & provided food, & was cheaper, & had better hours, & had fewer holidays . I heard the teacher is now teaching older kids which I think is a better fit for her skills. The staff & faculty, parents, grounds are nice, & the kids are great. But it is not a good value, very friendly to working parents, & has too many holidays. Love & Logic is not for us. I don't know if it was a culture of pride that interfered with their ability to discuss my concerns. But the idea that they are beyond criticism was arrogant & cost them a great kid, committed parents, & a favorable review."

"I like that the school has a collegial approach to education such that students are able to experience the diverse personality, creativity, and interests of the individual teachers. The environment supports development of lessons based 'in the moment of interest', it demonstrates to students that they should be observant, follow an inspiration and investigate it to its fullest within a broad context. I like that my child's teacher takes educational risks and doesn't let nonsensical rules distract her from her own greater wisdom about what might be meaningful her students and their families. I value that her educational background is in Art (not specifically Education) which allows her to support the development of creative thinking in all subjects. She is not only 'teaching about Art', rather more importantly, she is artful in the way she supports learning about the tactile world we live in. The Seed's approach is golden in an age of mediocre educational systems that stiffle creative thinking through teaching formulas for everything. They teach self expression, exploration, observation & questioning, duty & impactful citizenship w/ high learning outcomes in a caring communal way."

"The Awakening Seed has been a life changing experience for our entire family. The staff never ceases to amaze me with their high quality education, innovative learning techniques, ability to connect with students of all ages and personalities and their excellent engagement with parents. Not a day goes by that we pick our son up from school and can barely believe the things he has learned and experienced. When your child enrolls at the seed you all become family and are treated as such. You will not find this education and environment anywhere else."

"We couldn't have found a better school for our toddler who started when he was one year old. The teachers and staff are very professional. There is no doubt in my mind that the school director's dedication to students plays a big role in the teachers' success. I don't see this kind of commitment in other schools."

"Awakening Seed is the most amazing school in the Valley. The staff is highly trained and wonderful to my children. My kids are always running in the gate, with a smile on their face, and whining when they have to leave!"
