"I went to Cactus View for 7years from kindergarten to 6th grade. I am now a 8th grader at Vista Verde Middle School. I loved all of my teachers! They all took the time to know each one of their students. I had a fantastic time at CVES. I recommend this school!"

"I am raising my 8 yr old grandson who was dx'd with Early Childhood Bipolar Disorder and ADHD when he was 4 yo. When Logan was in Kindergarten it was clear he needed special accommodations and his teacher referred him for an IEP. From that time on CV put together a Team for Logan and they have been his advocates in every way. Each year his current teacher hand picks the next teacher knowing the skills and temperment needed and we all set up whatever accommodations needed for the next year. Logan is currently in 3rd grade. He has been Student of the Month for 3 years in a row and this past quarter earned all A's & B's for the first time. He went from having meltdowns and having to take 'cool down' walks in 1st grade to having excellent behavior in class this year. He may still have some meltdowns at home but even they are short lived. Everyone from CV's principal, teachers and support staff have been more than cooperative in every way possible to help Logan be as successful as possible which is a great success for them as well. I know given a different school with different values he very well might not be this successful. Logan is not the only child to receive this type of attention at CV. All students are treated with respect and care."

"Honestly - The staff has been great and initially my children flourished when they first started the 2005-06 school year. The problem we are having now is with the students and their ability to have such negative influence on both my children. My children have exprienced extensive and ongoing bully like behaviors that have only been addressed once the faculty has been confronted rather than as they occurred by the teachers/duty aides. The community has been a disappointment and has evidently influenced my childrens learning and grades. I'm not sure how concerned anyone is there about these issues. They do have the integrated grades online to see your childrens grades but I do wish they were more concerned about seeing an Honor Student drop from honors status to failing his current grade within the first qtr of the school yr. No direct contact has been made from staff re: these issues."
