    "This school overall is a great school. There are certain teachers who are better than others. Ms. Brunner, the school's principal is extremely accessible and very child oriented. The PTO has a lot of great events and fundraising is very easy. They don't put pressure on parents. Communication from the school is excellent, including a district wide alert system if there is an emergency. Class communications depends on the quality of teacher you get."

    "This is my daughters second year at Colina and I'm once again disappointed. The teacher gives up on her class frequently; while all the other classes get to enjoy activities, the teacher can't handle her class and makes them sit off to the side. This teacher, and last years teacher, lack organization and consistent discipline for their students. Colina has some great teachers and I hope my daughter gets one of them next year."

    "I am very pleased with Colina Elementary. I feel the teachers are motivated and caring and strive to provide a quality education for our children. Parent involvement is excellent. PTO is great. Many, many extra activities are provided to the children by the excellent PTO. It is a welcoming school with a diverse student population."

    "My children love Colina, and I love it too. The staff is awesome and the teachers are tops in their field. I believe Colina is the best elementary school in the district. (My children are in 3rd and 4th grade and have been at Colina since kindergarten.)"
