"A personal issue I have always had with the school is the fact the process to get into an Honors or AP Class is extremely easy, but getting out is extremely hard. You could be not doing well in a class and struggling with the material, but they will not let you out till you are almost failing. Though my teachers do there best to help you and resources. We have tutoring center, library, and after school help from teachers. The academics are up there in the fact we offer a multitude of DE classes, AP classes, and a relationship with the community colleges in Phoenix."

"This school has been a great experience for me. The diversity of the school adds so many extra opportunities to the school. Also, the plethora of clubs and organizations makes it so finding the right crowd for you is not hard. This school has allowed me to harness my academic abilities in the midst of some of the best scholars in Arizona."

"Parents expect to much of their kids often I see my friends stressing becusse their parents expect a 4.0 GPA, sports, and clubs. Yet, they do not provide the support these kids besides the "you need to do this attitude", but I cannot say this is bad parenting. As a student and someone who does not have kids I cannot judge their parenting skills as positive or negative. As in all high schools across the country the football team gets huge support, baseball, volleyball, and many other sports. Yet, the support for the arts, academic clubs, or other event falls short. For some reason parents I feel do not find these events as important."
