"Mountain Pointe provide academic rigor. They strive to make sure every student passes with the help of ac/lab, totem tutoring center and getting help from you teachers through meeting or emails. Mountain Pointe is ranked high for their academic achievements. They provide dual enrollment course in partner with Rio Salado College to earn college credit while attending high school. They also Evite, a trade school program that students can be a part of. Workload is heavy. The scheduling process is generally pretty easy."

"I am glad I attended Mountain Pointe High school. Because of the wide ranges of diversity on our campus most students are easy to get along and work with. Our school is the only one with this distinct trait in our entire district- I believe this is our school's strongest trait. I have loved being class President and getting involved with all of the clubs available on our campus."

"My school is very diverse. I believe that there are ethnic/racial challenges due to the high racial tensions created in society, but also of kids that get bussed in from lower socioeconomic areas. There are "clicks" so it creates separation of classes within the school. Peer pressure exists everywhere, no matter what ethnic/race you are. There are a variety of clubs and student organizations that students can get involved in and create friendships and acceptance. I choose to stay involved in school and extracurricular activities to create friendships and acceptance."

"In general, teachers at Mountain Pointe do well to help students learn and have similar teaching styles as well as grading policies. But, there is always that one teacher that does not have much communication skills when it comes to explaining the lessons. Even though they have a hard time explaining, they do their best to help. Most of the teachers enjoy their job and it shows. Overall, teachers at Mountain Pointe are exceptional."
