"People participate in various academic groups and sports. Everyone is generally fine and you can avoid things by just avoiding people."

"I think the overall quality of the teachers at North Canyon is very poor with the exception of a few good teachers. I have had several teachers that have tried to influence their religion on the class by either showing church services via youtube or reading from the bible and using multiple quotes from the bible on a daily basis. I have also had teachers who were completely racist and just not a person who should be working in the education department. My English teacher sophomore year made several remarks towards the students such as calling an African American student a "cotton picker". He has also said that a female student got pregnant at 15 because she was Mexican. There is absolutely no consistency of grading whatsoever. I have had at least 5 teachers who did not grade consistency between students. I would advise North Canyon to look into some new faces at North Canyon for the better of the students. Don't get me wrong, there are maybe four teachers at North Canyon that I love dearly and are amazing at what they do, but they do not come close to outweighing the others."

"Most of the teachers care and are involved with the students, but then there are also some teaches who have been working there for so long that they are just trying to get through another day. Each teacher has their own style of teaching, but they don't really take into consideration what way the students learn best. if their style of teaching is way off from how the student might learn, the student most likely won't do very well in the class, reflecting poorly on the teacher and student."

"Most of the teachers have their own different type of teaching styles. They make their own lesson plans and grade their work based on personal relationships with the students. the principal was very nice and professional and fixed problems very quickly."

"I think the overall people that attend this school are really great. Over the four years all the friends I've made and the new people I have met have made it worth while. I would go to this school all over again because there is just something special about everyone who goes there. We are each unique in our own ways and we bond as individuals over the years."
