"I was very careful to pick the right school for my first child. I made the best decision. He has learned to read in Kindergarten. I could barely tie my shoes. He has excel in all areas and I believe that is due to a great teaching staff. They care about each child and that child's success. I have spoke to students who have gone to Sabis and they say they would not be as successful as they are if they had not gone there. They got great study skills, social skills and education."

"I cannot say enough good things abut this school. My son had been attending a nearby public school and was bullied daily for months without the teachers or administration doing anything about it. He has not had a single problem with that at SABIS. The school really cares, and acts on the principals of getting the right learning environment for every student. They are very accommodating for learning disabilities as well. SABIS will not be right for every child. They place high standards for academics, and expect the students to meet them. Some children simply won't be cut out for those kids of rigors. The gifted students, or those who do better when getting a kick in the pants will do well here. They promote a safe environment for the students, do not tolerate bulling behavior, and do the best they can to have the students exceed. The one area somewhat lacking is parent evolvement. Yet I don't see how this is a failing of the school, but of the parents themselves. The school provides the opportunity, but can hardly be held responsible when the parents fail to respond. I have been very happy with my experience here, as have both my children."

"We are not perfect a school. SABIS has a great group of teachers and staff dedicated to enriching students in the south mountain region. It has a great group of students and parents that have kept us at performing plus for over years. We are proud of our accomplishments, but we will not settle for complacency. Unlike any school we have our share of struggles, but we will not take our eye off the prize. Thank you for the best years to come students, staff, parents and the community."

"just a coment to the former staff member with the review dated in June 2010. Just move on and take all the garbage you brought to SABIS in the first place. if SABIS was a bad school as you said in your comment, then you really didnt belong at SABIS, glad you are no longer there, by the way you should check SABIS test scores so you could understand why SABIS is in this community, making a diffrence for all these students that SABIS teachers care about. i guess you didnt care for the students at all, you only cared for was yourself and getting an income."

"I am a former teacher of Sabis, having left due to numerous frustrations with the structure and management of the school. Sabis does not require that teachers be certified or even highly qualified according to AZ charter school standards. While there are some great teachers, there are too many that do make the grade, and children are allowed to take over the school, creating chaos and injuries. Staff is not reprimanded for lack of supervision, and I am surprised no parents sued when a number of first graders got into fiberglass insulation that had fallen from the gymnasium ceiling, apparently not catching the attention of any of the adults in the room. Passionate, strong, effective teachers are encouraged to "relax" while other teachers are being walked all over by students. Although I will greatly miss the kids of Sabis, I cannot endure the poisonous environment any longer."
