"3 of my children are current students at Whittier. All of their teachers are, and have been, great teachers. The principal has the students' best interests in mind all of the time. My kids are all excelling on the standardized tests and are constantly learning. My oldest goes to ELP once a week, which is a great tool for those that need a little extra challenge. None of my kids, or any of my friends' kids seem to fall between the cracks or get left behind, but there are always new challenges for the kids at the top to work toward. I love this school and the staff!"

"I thought about sending my daughter here this year for kindergarten because the curriculum seems excellent. I have a cousin who is in the 3rd grade that attends this school. She is doing very well academically, and in that aspect, Whittier almost seems to be an Excelling school. But my concern was the bullying. My little cousin was constantly bullied by a boy in her class who actually physically assaulted her on more than one occasion. One of those times was with a pair of scissors. All the teacher ever did was send this student to the office time and again. I'm not sure if the kid was eventually expelled or not, but I do not feel comfortable sending my little girl to that school."
