"Have had two children attend Northgate Middle School. The teachers are dedicated to the success of the students. They offer advanced courses as well as before and afterschool tutoring. In the math department kids can choose any math teacher to tutor them, for free. This gives them access to a variety of teaching styles that can help them to grasp the information. The school has a very active concert and marching band program and just this year began an orchestra program. Northgate is a small school district and there is a lot of dedicated teachers in the middle school and high school. Anyone attending school with the right attitude who is going there to learn can be very successful."

"I attended Northgate awhile back. I was never impress in the curriculum. Granted there are teachers there that actually did care about the students, the other teachers just brought down the system. I was in all the advance placement courses and honors, and to me they were a waste of time and did not prepare me for college."

"Not thrilled with some of the teacher communication to parents or lack there of. School website not updated by some teachers promptly so that parents know where their child stands. There are some good teachers though."

"Our school is close knit and the teachers really care about the students. Students can be freinds with kids from various cliques without repercussions."

"This is a great school with great students and I love going there. I am an all honors student and i learn so much."
