"Charles Reed has offered my son great opportunities. Since he was in first grade his teachers always tried to keep him challenged. In 4th grade they started a new accelerated math program which puts 4th graders in 5th grade math class. This program has kept him interested in math again."

"Horrible school/faculty. My son is in 5th grade and still has not learned something as basic as creating an outline. These kids are in trouble when they get to middle/high school. My son was also assaulted by another student on school grounds and I wasn't notified until my he came home with blood covering his pants and shirt. No phone call and no disciplinary action for the other student. Despicable."

"We have a fifth-grader, a second-grader, and a first-grader at Reed, and I really like the school. I've been very pleased with all the teachers. They work hard, take their job seriously, and are focused on the kids. All of my kids' teachers have been very responsive to my questions and concerns over the years. I volunteer in their classrooms, and I've always been impressed by the dedication teachers show toward their students. The principal and vice-principal are available and really care about how the kids are doing. My only criticism is that the principal could take more advantage of parent enthusiasm and use parent volunteers more creatively, but she's also constantly in meetings and has a tremendous amount of work - it's hard to be creative when you're incredibly overworked. As with any school, if you're involved as a parent, it's better for the kids and the school."

"The principal is kind and she is a great example of a leader. Each child is encouraged to do their personal best without being labeled. I have a second grader that needs accelerated learning opportunities which have not been clearly marked out as of yet. Our school has only been running for one year so I hope the needs of all the students will be reach in the next year."
