"A cohesive environment of excellence makes this school stand above the rest. The principals Dr. Podjasek and Assistant Principal Katy Schafermeyer, teachers and parents work together well, communication is open, and the dedication is evident. I have put one child all the way through the prairie point system, and another one follows in 1st grade. It is a relief to be excited about which great teacher they will get in August as opposed to dreading certain ones. This school is wonderful."

"It's a fairly good elementary school for normal children. Mostly good teachers and a couple not so good. However, if you need special services the entire Oswego school district is not for you."

"The staff is energetic, creative, progressive and well educated. The school is guided by a positive leader in Mr. Lew Girmscheid. The environment models an ideal community. The parents pick up on how much their kids are cared for here and support the school whole-heartedly."

"This is a great school! Caring and 'hands on' principal who gets very involved with the kids. Lots of parent involvement. Academically, very good as well. My only concern is that many of the teachers aren't as 'seasoned' as they could be, with only 2-3 years of experience teaching. Still, it's a great school."
