"Having been at Northville Montessori Center since they were 3 years of age, my children(10 and 13) could not have had a better education. My son went all the way until 5th grade, and my daughter is finishing her last year here in 5th grade as well. Not only was my son extremely prepared for middle school he was well above average in all subjects. Mr. Keith, the upper elementary instructor is not only a wonderful teacher,he is excited about the children learning and knows how to keep them motivated. We have been apart of the school 10 years now. It started with pre-school that worked out so well for our children we stayed on through the wonderful lower elementary to the upper el. My children are wonderfully well rounded secure individuals due in part to their experience at NMC."

"Northville Montessori Center has a superb reputation. The preschool provides a sound preparation through Dr. Montessori's teachings. My children also attended the elementary, which gave them an added advantage once they moved on to high school. They were 'ahead' in all subjects which made the transition that much easier. Contrary to one reviewer's opinion, the elementary program is highly structured with outcomes and expectations in line with Michigan standards."

"The pre-school is excellent. The elementary school is very poor. The unstructured environment does not prepare a child for the structure that is required to learn in higher education. Parents are required to do most of the teaching at home. The elementary teachers do very little. There is no discipline. Bullying is prevalent."
