"The teachers at my school are great! Sometimes they have off days where their teaching isn't the best or they don't seem in the best mood to put up with kids, but they are overall great teachers. They really care about their students. I go to a school where most of the students live in poverty. It's no secret that a lot of the students here are involved in risky activities outside of school and some even in school. The teachers here at Umatilla High School genuinely seem to care about their students. They want us to grow up and not only have a great education, but also be great people. Some of the teachers here do hours and hours of extra work or stay after school for excessive amounts of hours just to help out the students who aren't quite understanding the material in class. Our teachers are amazing and I wouldn't want them any other way."

"I would choose this school all over again, but in order to have more students to come to this school they should get more electives to choose from. For example, drama, other foreign languages other than Spanish, and maybe photography."
