"I have a daughter attending Juan Cabrillo and she has made many friends and so has my wife and I. The teachers are very easy to talk to. They have kept us aware of my childs academic and social improvements. I am very happy with the extracurricular activities that are offered. I also like the diverse population of the school as it teaches my daughter diversity. I had the opportunity to have my daughter attend Point Dume but chose to send her to Juan Cabrillo"

"This is a fabulous school. Although our ratings are lower than Webster or Point Dume, we have the highest diversity of students out of all three Malibu school. Our parent involvement makes our school unbelievable. You know everyone and everyone knows you and your child. It is a warm and inviting community. We have music, art, computer, among other activities."

"The greatest thing about our school is the community. Malibu is like a small town with it's support for the schools. The schools are all on the same street so all of my kids stay close by and the schools support each other. And because we are in Malibu, alot of our funds are private. The PTA alone funds about $300,000 worth of programs including music, science and art! Our motto is that 'it takes a village to raise a child'. Comparing it to the other schools in our city, I prefer Juan Cabrillo because there is more diversity. We have a larger 'English Learner' & special needs population than the other schools in our area."

"This school is amazing. They academics are up there with private schools. There are many extracurricular activities. For example; my son is is a drumming class at the school. The level of parent involvement is also very high."

"Three of my children attended this school. It is the best of what public school can be. It has excellent leadership and high quality teaching. You'd expect that in an affluent community. What Cabrillo has additionally, however, is a wide diversity in student body, including minority students and special ed. children. All of this is combined in a campus that feels like home. You get a real sense of family at Cabrillo. I cannot recommend it highly enough."
