"I am a student here in every Honors class available. I think this is a good school, but also a very overrated one. While most of the teachers are very effective, some of them err frequently while teaching. Large amounts of homework are also assigned. The other reviews that complain about drug use are false. No one has sold or used any form of any substance while at school. There are few bullies, but the ones that are there are ignored by some of the aides. Your child will probably enjoy this school."

"Over crowded spoiled brats. LVUSD has become more like LAUSD in terms of caring about the students and bullying in many forms goes on here. So glad there are other districts to choose from like Oak Park and schools in Westlake Village.. It was not always like this in this area. Too many people from town moved here thinking it was "better than LAUSD". Well now there really is no difference apart from it being mostly white and no gang problems. There is another form of the gang mentality and it occurs when too much New Money gathers in one place.... It is a true relief to be out of that district all together"

"I hate this school! This school is full of cliques and all the kids are very rude/mean. There is a lot of drama between students. A lot of the kids do drugs and try to make you feel bad and your self esteem go down the drain. Horrible school. Teachers are pretty good but not the students at all! Take it from me, I've been in this school for years. Don't send your child here, please. They'll be miserable!!"

"I am a student here and I enjoy going here. I see no racist, fighting, nor bullying. The kids are great. Some of the teachers do tend to give out too much homework and busy work, but they do care and make time to turtor those that need help. I learn a lot and maintain what I have learned and that is the most important aspect for me. Yes, the honor students get to go to Camps, but wouldn't that motive other students to do better?? I would think so. It is nice getting recognition for getting good grades. The administratvie staff do need to relax a little and have more of am open door policy though."
