"i am a old student of montvue and when i attended the school it was the worst time of my life. There was way to many Hispanics there and they did what ever they wanted and no teacher ever stop them. I was in the 4th grade when a incident happened to me that made me hate that school and every one in it. I was attacked in the classroom when the teacher left to make copy's and when she got back she took one look at my convulsing body and grabbed me and dragged me all the way across the room dropped me at my desk and continued teaching like nothing ever happened. I moaned in pain though the entire class and she ignored me. Nothing ever happen to her and i got in trouble for interrupting the class. Please if your kids aren't Mexican stay away from montvue"

"Shortly after wet arrived to Montvue in 2008-2009 school year we received a letter from the school district with scores of our Pomona schools and an application to apply for another surrounding school, Montvue was pretty low, but we decided to keep our two kids enrolled and work it out. That end of year scores for Montvue jumped up 60 points. Rachel (Principle) brought creativity and excitement. At the end of next year is our youngest sons last year at Montvue and we will be sad to be leaving the staff as he enters Jr. High. Our experience with the principle Rachele Monarrez has been a great partnership, as well with our kids teachers, Mrs OJ and Mr. Martinez. Their love and dedication for our kids goes way beyond their pay. They pour out their whole being to ensure that our kids receive the education they deserve."

"I am a proud parent of a Montvue students, I have had nothing but amazing results from my child's progress. The parent participation is astounding and the diligence and support from administration is phenomenal. My children often receive accolades from teachers, peers, and parents. We as a community have the same goals of reaching our children highest potential in their educational endeavors. I truly admire the dedicated administration and staff for their time and support for our families and child's success. An example of the support stated, my child currently receives tutoring at 6:00 a.m. in the morning to meet my child's needs for improvement and success. We are fortunate the teachers willingly work above and beyond the call of duty to serve our children. It is my hope the other schools follow suit. I myself currently attend evening classes at the site to assist the staff and my child's success."

"I am a parent of a child in 4th grade. I have had concerns regarding the lack of communication towards my child when he attended 3rd grade literature. He was below reading level and the instructor made it clear that his literary skills would hardly improve and should be placed in a lower level class. However, his current 4th grade experience has been of great knowledge given the parental support and new more suitable instruction given. I believe that a student under these low self-esteem criteria tends to feel like an outcast and it is my hope that administration will lead by example and correct the mistakes when parents like myself voice our concerns."

"I am an active parent with four children attending Montvue. The new administration has been instrumental in my children education. We are constantly advised of child's progress. The principal often asks what more she can advocate for on behalf to the schools progress to improve the child success. In addition, she willingly accepts constructive criticism in terms of what is needed to improve parent/staff/and administration communication. She has an open door policy that is clear and respectful and supports various methods or ideas to increase parent involvement and learning techniques. She has also brought training, tutoring, and parent meetings to a whole new level to bridge the gaps that have hindered the educational growth of our children in the past. We are grateful for such an amazing administration and staff. We have seen leaps and bounds when it comes to the new Montvue."
