"I like the support and encouragement from all the teachers and staff, they generally care. But being that the population of our school is mostly low income students many experienced teachers don't want to work at our school so we get instead many fresh out of college teachers with little to no experience and it causes disadvantaged students to suffer more than they have to. I like the environment but academically we need more effective teachers. Even many teachers who do have years of experience under their belt fail to engage students into learning. Passing rates for tests fall way below 50% and it isn't just because the students are financially troubled."

"Most teachers are first year teachers with very little experience. They struggle in teaching or in keeping control of the classroom"

"The teachers try thier best with the resources they have to work with , but then again some teachers tend to not care for well being and progress in a student . The school itself is not bad , but it's a school succumbed to such a limit to growth. I feel like it's not exciting or a school that most people would want thier child to attend . I'm bored here and I just wish I could feel welcomed and excited in clubs and other things that this school doesn't offer . The atmosphere in a classroom is adequate but needs improvement , but then again it's a school that's seems to be finally ready for the next chapter in his "life". The future could be different ."

"There could be more classes offered. Many students get into their senior year and have no options for classes to choose from because they've taken most of them already. Sometimes students are placed into classes they do not belong in such as higher leveled classes like AP or honors and are not successful. The workload is not uniform, some classes have no workload and some way too much. Having 7 classes a day and each teacher expecting you to study for at least an hour a day per class gets overwhelming. Most students I know have jobs and siblings to care for and its almost impossible to find over 7 hours after school to study"
