"my son has attened cross creek school for approx. 3 yrs. he started there in the middle of 6th grade and is currently in the 9th grade, he is now partially mainstreamed and will be completely mainstreamed next school year for 10th grade.when he first started at cross creek it was a scary and painful time for him and our family, the emotional crisis he went through and what entailed for him was very challenging, cross creek made all the difference. the staff and support system he has at cross creek has made him into a wonderful and happy teenager, not without fault, but what teenager is perfect? they helped him grow and face issues that made him mature and feel good about himself. as a parent of a child who has had emotional difficulties , croos creek made a big difference to us thank you"

We have had the chance to explore all 3 SED centers in Broward as our son attended them all and we think Cross Creek possesses the best, most caring staff. Obviously we would trade Cross Creek if our son could be mainstreamed -- at times SED centers need to sacrifice education for a role as babysitter due to unique"
