"I really do not have any favorite experiences at this school. Maybe graduating will be one. This school focuses on education a little too much. Homecoming week wasn't even that fun because we were given a lot of book work. Our so called pep rallies might be 10 minutes. I just feel like students do not get a real high school experience at this school. I look at other schools and try to compare my to school to it, and it is far from other high schools. Our school has an amazing education program, but that is all it focuses on. We became an A school, and wasn't even rewarded. Many of my classmates dread going to school. I'm just happy to be graduating. That's all."

"The teachers at my school are really helpful. They make sure everyone know what they are doing before we move to another lesson. All of my teacher offer one on one time after school or during my luch break. The best thing about our teachers is that they prepare us very well for our EOC's,ACT, and other state test that we have to take."

"Some teachers are easier to talk to than others. This maybe do to how open they are with students. Others teachers tend to worry just about doing work rather than making sure the students understand the work they are doing. I feel like it is easier to communicate with the younger teachers, which may be do to the fact that they are young. Most teachers have knowledge on the subject they are teaching, and some are just thrown into classes, which is mainly elective teachers. I feel like teachers could try harder to help students that are struggling, but I guess they think the previous teachers should have helped them."

"Scheduling is based off seniority kind of. If a senior needs a class, he/she will get it first since they are about to graduate. We do have before and after school tutoring. Teachers give different amounts of work, and some do not follow there testing dates. Before a break or holiday, teachers tend to pile a lot of work on students, which needs to be changed because they know when all the school breaks are."

"My favorite experience at Brusly High School is when I played in the Volleyball Classic. The thing that make my school unique is that it's like a family. It's not segregated, and everyone look out for each other. The reason i would choose this school again is because it's like another home."
