"I have high hopes for this school but so far I am not impressed. When I called to ask questions, in the spring, it was impossible to reach anyone on the phone and it took three months for someone to return a voicemail message I left. I couldn't even reach anyone on the switchboard. Now, they are not even open for registration over the summer, (all other high schools in the area are) and it is still impossible to reach anyone. And, their website does not help since it has not been updated in quite some time, some parts not since 2008 (4 years ago). It seems very poorly run and quite disorganized."

"FLHS is an amazing school and you won't truly understand how good it is until you are there. At first, when I knew that I had to go there, I was sad friends from my middle school was going to a religious or college preparatory school. However, when I took the tour at FLHS the year before signing up, I was.... speechless. The stairs were majestic and every few years they would change and reconstruct the buildings. I love the library, the books were plenty...."

"I give Fort Lauderdale High School five stars for its Debate program. The Debate Program is one of the BEST in the nation!"
