"I really loved that school with all my heart and wish I could go back and I'm sure thats how your kids will feel too. That school is like a place that you want to stay at. They teach you lots of thing and give you individule attention. When I needed help with fractions Mrs.Hill constently helped till I got it."

"My 5th grader loves school. She has had a good relationship with all of her teachers at Poteau and with most of her classmates. The classes are small enough for her to get individual help when she needs it, yet the grades are large enough to let her find a place to fit in with other students. The faculty and staff at PUES know their students by name and teachers tailor their teaching styles to the needs of the class. The teachers are fairly upbeat and 'with it' not your stereo-typical teacher who has taught the same year for the entire career. They adapt with changing curriculum including the newest change to Saxton math last year."
