"I have a daughter at the Pottstown Middle School as well as Rupert Elementary and I happen to be very happy with both of these schools & my children's education and experience here! I would prefer with the high cost of taxes I pay that it would include busing and the cost of the required uniforms. But the teachers and faculty themselves do an outstanding job & genuinely seem to care about the children and their success! The small town feel, and my elementary school being within walking distance was the main factor in my purchasing the home I did here! Keep up the great work Pottstown School District!"

"Unfortunately Pottstown suffers from a poor reputation which is baseless. My now grown daughter attended Lincoln for one year and it was a great experience for her. I now have a Foster Child attending the MS and I am so thankful for his teachers going above and beyond the call of duty every day to help him succeed."

"We moved to Pottstown when my child was in middle school. I worried so much about the move but I was pleasantly surprised by the school. The principle met us before the school year ( we didnt get to do the orientation) and gave us a tour and introduced us to some of the staff. When my child had any issues the teachers were very quick to respond to either my phone calls, letters, or more often emails."

"I feel that the school is very good at educating the students. I myself is a student at Pottstown Middle School. But they treat you like you have no freedom. Lots of my friends parents and also mine feel that it is more like Military School than a public school. I am a honor roll student and feel that it is important to learn as best you can. The disipline area of the scool is very strict. The things I and other student feel that forgetting your ID and gettin detention for it is a stupid disipline. I mean of course the students shouldnt forget there ID but one time and they get a detention that is dumb. I mean they trying to teach student to be responsible but the truth is that sometimes you forget to do stuff. That is basically the major problem in the school, Students feel no freedom."
