"Not 3 days after they started school the teachers called my husband and I complaining about our daughter having green hair from swimming in our neighbors pool, which we were told by several people it would come out on it's own. So instead of putting harmful chemicals in her hair to remove it, we decided to let it run it's course. Next the counselor called us, we missed the call and proceeded to call back try to find out what was going on with our kids. No one knew anything and we could not reach the counselor! It's been only 3 weeks that my kids have been going to this "school" and i got up late this morning to discover my children not on the bus, the bus never came! I called the school and they proceeded to tell us that a bus came at 8:15 to come and get the kids that had been left but i asked what good would that had done with you not notifying the parents, for my upset and concern i didn't get an answer but rather a dial tone! My children would learn more at home than at this school any day of the week! I would highly recommended home schooling that going here!"

"Crawford schools are great schools. My 6yr old will be attending the Crawford County Elemntary school this term and is looking forward to it.I hate that the kids had to return to school late due to funding but this is something that the county will have to look in to to see what will make things better for our schools and children. We don't want this to have an impact on their learning. My child has learned a lot the CCES(eagle nest) and i know he will do great at the Elementary school. The teachers do a wonderful job with helping the kids master their skills. I really appreaciate you all."

"I believe there are some wonderful teachers at this school and if you have a child that overall is smart, has a good attitude, no behavior problems (and gets on the "correct" side of the hall), then great, they'll breeze right thru. But if you have any type of special needs child whether it be physical or mental, you're screwed because they are not educated, nor trained or equipped to handle them. You've got overwhelmed principals that listen to you just to passify (but do nothing), and then you've got teachers that should have retired years.....ago that are extremely difficult to deal with. They expect children to sit in class for 7hours a day and act like robots. They're not really even allowed to speak at lunch and rarely get the recess they need to burn off energy. Its rediculous what our education system has become."

"As a parent of a child with disabilities, I cannot give enough praise for the teachers, parapros and media staff for their hard work and determination . They go above and beyond their scopes of practice to help these children."

"I am a mother of an Asperberger child and th zero tolerance is a joke the teachers like to threaten if you don't do things like they want needless to say I don't scare easy, they weren't prepared for me. I don't fold lidagation doesn't scare me like they thought so I called their bluff, now no more threats so far. Mr.Slinks is a good man that I admire as for some of the teachers, there are a few I would love to meet in a dark alley. Now that have someone teaching them some compassion and how to respond. These are supposed to be specialists in special ed but ive noticed on the teacher page that there aren't any specialists in CCES so ive got more ammo I'm not only fighting for my sons education but for the education for the other children whose parents scare easy. Most of the bulling comes from the teachers wanting to label and medicate to make their day easier they need to retire some or just let me get hold of the few I want. My son received a concussion and was told to lay down no emt called, awe ended up in e.r. with cat scans a little ignorance is running rapid in CCES"
