"This school is not the type of school that you would want to send your child to. Certain things have happened to my child while under the "watchful eyes" of these "great" teachers. So when you think what is the worst that could happen to a child while in school. Well, in this school it has happened and has gone without attention for too long. So please if you love your child then don't send them to this school."

"As with any school this school's success relies on the parents, kids, and school staff. The most important factor is the parent. Parents are responsible for their childs education, Period!!! My child has attended the school for 5 years and she has improved academically as a result of a caring staff and additional assistance offered by the school. The kids love the school and its diversity. This school is a diamond in the rough. A child's education can flourish in such a school."

"As any school's success is dependent on the parents involvement with their children! This year will be better than ever! We have great teachers from the bottom up who care about all students. Unfortunately the kids can't come home with us."

"I have had two children attend this school and I have to say that things are getting better. The teachers and staff are trying to work with the students and their parents. The down side is the parents. Hoke county is a poor county but I can say with confidence that if you are a parent that is active with your childs academics, your child will do exceptionally well. The blame for the schools poor academic rating can most likely be pinpointed to one major reason and that is parents. I am a parent and I am very active in my children's school work. I take advantage of the extra tutoring that the school offers to help our children, but again, my child is on the honor roll and attends the tutoring while other children that really need the help just go home. Come on parents, don't fail our kids or school.RobertJ."
