"This school did have its ups for sure. The janitorial staff were real nice and the security guards were great, sometimes they would give out left over lunch burritos at the end of the day (good stuff!) however i would say the administration was a rude as ever. The vice principal did not want to hear anything you had to say and was extremely rude. I will point out there were a couple of nice ones who were always pleasant but the majority were a pain when you had some business to do in the front office. I would never go back to this school. The district was great and i would attend one of the other ones, just not RBHS. I had issues with another peer that got to the point of police involvement and when things would happen at school they really did nothing, allowing her to continue her harassment. It was truly awful not having a higher voice to bring this to an end in a place i had no option but to go to every single day."

"Overall, I had a really great experience. I think having a fun outlet of dance or choir helped me get through all my academic classes because it made me want go to school."

"Rancho Bernardo, in my opinion, is a fairly competitive school. Peer pressure does exist but it's not your typical high school drama type of thing. With many clubs, you will make friends who encourage you to grow and better yourself."

"During my time at RBHS, I had a handful of fantastic teachers who genuinely cared about educating their students from whom i learned a great deal from but sadly their hard work got over shadowed the teachers who were just there for their tenure. They were rude and unhelpful when I either had questions about the material or just the way they approached their teaching style. Graduating from this place was probably one of my favorite days because it signaled that I never had to go back and my college years were about to begin. I would say they do try to prepare you for college but its a half assed attempt and I got to where I am today due to my own diligence which I learned from my family. RBHS could use lots of improvement as well as some more budgeting from the state because that campus is atrocious compared to others in the Poway Unified School District. I will never forget my time there but i am over joyed that i will never be going back to a place that cares more about their reputation and not having to actually help students with legitimate peer issues and trying to sweep things, that needed to be addressed, under the rug."
