"The teachers that I had at Venice High School, they was respectful and awesome teachers. They always helped me with things that I don't understand and don't know how to do. They are very polite and not disrespectful to students or others."

"There is a wonderful diversity of culture and people at Vence. My best friend is hispanic and we have both changed eachother's opinions and undone stereotypes about each of our ethnicities. There is no peep pressure at this school, you dont have to partake in anything that you dont want to. There are tons of social scenes available to students its just about finding people you click with, which isnt hard to do providing that the school is so diverse. A poplular crowd definetly exist, though it isnt stated out right that it does."

"The magnet programs are wonderful and provide a wide variety of classes of all levels available to the students ranging from regular courses to AP courses. Awesome language and technology programs, although its kinda a gamble with the regular courses."

"I loved my track/cross-country team, they really were my family in and out of school. Plus we had an amazing and inspirational coach leading us not just in our athletic carreers but also in our educational ones. Out of the five AP courses that I took, I would say four of them were engaging, challenging, enjoyable and taught me all I needed to know. The other AP course was a complete waste of time, I learned nothing and wish I had not taken it. The school's vast diversity taught me how to socialize with different types of people from a variety of backrounds, the diversity also taught me a lot about other different ways of life and allowed me to experience them. One thing that I was really disapointed with this high school was its lack of school spirit, it was plain sad the lack of spirit that I saw among the students."
