"I've been at this school for two years, and it is not a walk in the park. So many students don't care about their educations at all, be it because of their home enviroment or most likely inadequte early education(elementary/mid). It was not my choice to go to this school, and a year ago I would've said "NO!", had someone asked me if i would choose this school if I could. Senior year, however, I chose to become actively involved in a few different groups, and let me tell you: it makes all the difference. I was no longer just some random apathetic kid going to class and doing the bare minimum. When you actually get involved, you're i troduced to a whole different set of students who actually want to make something of themselves. Being in an AP class is not very hard, but just being around kids who put effort into their work makes you like school that much more. Overall, this school can be really great if you find your niche, and if you avoid all the craziness that goes on. And yes, overall the best part of this school are the clubs and extracurriculars."

"While there is a large number of teachers dedicated to enriching our lives (or at least trying to), many find that they can't get through to the students. This is due to a few things, like unruly kids who don't work well under authority. Another big part of the problem are students who speak very little English-their precenve is not a "bad" thing but it does make teacing and having a productive learning enviroment a little hard.Things like these tend to make great teachers just "okay", and "okay" teachers become "bad" ones."

"Since English was not my first language and had to start from the beginner level, most of my teachers were ESOL teachers. They were great and they were the reason why I attended college. They always made sure their students were doing well in and outside of classroom."
