    "I am a former student and I must say that the education that they gave the students was not challanging enough to many students. The sports are great. The teachers, well let's just say that some teachers are not meant to be with children."

    "The elective programs are cut every year because the school, built just 5 years ago, is already crowded and the teachers have to teach 'required courses'. The regular academic programs are wonderful, but I'd like to see more music and art programs. Sports are great. In 2004 our basketball team won the county championship."

    "I have a son at Conrad Weiser. He has had very good to excellent teachers and every chance for an excellent education. The school does not do a good enough job of promoting itself or its outstanding student accomplishments."

    "I am actually a student but I believe that I must also be heard. I think that discipline is not the most prevalent problem in our school district. The school board does not have a handle on anything financial. In the high school, many classes under the size of 28 are being considered whether or not they will be scratched. As an honors student, I realize that if this action goes through, many or all honors courses, Advanced Placement courses and non-popular but necessary electives will be lost. How can the students prepare for the future when the curriculum is without these classes? Statewide surveys have shown that we are already very low when compared to other districts. Why eliminate the most important constituent of our school? I think our school board really needs to consider this. Otherwise the future for the students will not be very bright."

    "Conrad Weiser has many good teachers.The problem is the administration does not want to deal with disipline. They would rather give a kid out of school suspension or send them to the district justice.This is passing the buck. If the parent will not disipline the child,then out of school suspension is no punishment at all.Kids need to see a puinisment occur to get the message. They need to see someone get paddeled or scrubbing the toilets.As a former board member,the biggest complaint I got from teachers was the lack of support from the administration when it came to unruly students.I wanted to start a Saturday detention program and make the kids work,but the adminitration did not want to do it and the other board members didn't seem to care.Untill we make disiline in the school a prioroity,nothing will change."
