"Northeast Middle School is generally considered the best of Reading's four middle schools. It has a challenging curriculum and has generally high expectation of students from the faculty. There is also a full array of extracurricular activities, and our daughter takes advantage of them with field hockey, chorus, NJHS, and softball. Parental involvement is sketchy given NEMS has to deal with the reality of existing in an urban environment."

"I think that the teachers are doing what they can, considering the student population. I especially admire the guidance staff. They are so caring and put so much effort into helping the students. We are all very lucky to have them working so hard for us."
