"As a junior, I greatly enjoy the variety of teachers in my classes this year at school. Many have gone out of their way to communicate to students their passion and love for what they do. Their policies often include assistance for struggling students. Additionally, they care about the student body and involve themselves in clubs, extracurriculars, and field trips. They know how to teach in a way that students will relate to and understand. However, a few teachers in particular in my freshman and sophomore years unfortunately did not meet the aforementioned standards, and I suffered in class because of it. Yet overall, I am impressed with the quality of the Carlmont teachers."

"I love my teachers they're fun, exciting and teach things in a way where I feel comfortable."

"Scheduling errors can be prevalent, and personally, I was restricted to only six classes instead of the seven I had wanted to take. Classes in themselves highly depend on the teacher- I was fortunate enough to have high-quality teachers this year, but in my sophomore and freshman years I was not so lucky."

"This school is great in terms of classes and workload. While the kids may be getting quite a lot of homework they do it willingly. Even better is that the student body is amazing and this school has some AMAZING spirit."

"Carlmont does not have a very diverse student body socioeconomically, and are often less than accepting of students coming from lower-income families. However, we are much more racially diverse and students of minority/multiple races feel comfortable. Similarly, Carlmont does its part to integrate the LGBTQ+ community, as can be seen in our recently added gender-neutral bathrooms."
